About

Masculinities 101 is a forum for activist scholars in the field of men and masculinities to draw connections between social science research and everyday life. We aim to support activist work by providing a scholarly context to contemporary issues of gender, race, sexuality, and class. We promote critical race and feminist explorations of men and masculinities in order to engage activists and scholars in necessary conversations for social change.

Masculinities 101 is sponsored by the Center for the Study of Men and Masculinities at Stony Brook University.

This is an excellent blog. Thank you for bringing rigor to the discussion between men and women, and noting that men are people too.
